Have you ever gone through the hallways and seen the familiar faces of people you might have known from middle school, yet you never talk to them? You wonder what’s going on in their lives. how much you have missed, and how much has stayed the same for them.

Well, lucky for you, we were able to catch up with two Rebel students right before Thanksgiving break and ask them a few questions about their lives and about school.

Emory Bear

What is your favorite color? “Blue.”

What is your favorite sport and team? “Auburn Basketball.”

What is your favorite thing about Vestavia? “I really like a lot, but my favorite thing is probably how nice everyone is.”

What is your favorite class? “Economics. Shout out to Coach Warner!”

Do you play any sports or participate in anything for VHHS? “Yes. I play basketball, and I’m the first point guard.”

What is the thing that is getting you through senior year? “Probably the lack of classes I have. I only have 3 real classes this year.”

Baker Stewart

What is your favorite color? “Teal.”

What is your favorite sport and team? “I really like North Carolina Men’s Golf.”

What is your favorite thing about Vestavia? “Probably Ms. Rose and Ms. Wanda in the lunchroom.”

What is your favorite class? “Sports Marketing with Coach Thomas.”

Do you play any sports or participate in anything for VHHS? “I’m a tight end for the Varsity Football team.”

What is the thing that is getting you through senior year? “Definitely Diet Coke or coffee.”

Thank you so much to both Emory and Baker for participating in the first game of the Random Rebel. To everyone else: keep your eyes peeled for Pillar Staff members! You never know who might end up on the next Random Rebel.
