Letter From The Editor 1/23

Updated: Jan 24, 2023

Hey everyone!

Welcome or welcome back to Pillar. Over the break, our staff has been working to start this year off with a bang, so be on the lookout for a few new projects over the semester! This drop is all about new beginnings. Whether it be the start of a new RISE season, recruiting new members for an activity, or thinking about new classes for the 2023-24 school year, a new semester brings a fresh start to a part of all of our lives.

This past weekend, many people around the world celebrated Lunar New Year. Lunar New Year is celebrated by over 2 Billion people every year, and follows the movement of the moon cycle. This year is the year of the rabbit. The rabbit is a symbol of caution and intellect. It stresses the importance of approaching life and its problems in an intelligent way.

So, as we go into this new year, I put together a list of 23 pieces of wisdom to think about in the midst of our new beginnings. Enjoy, and as always, Happy Reading.
